Medical Credentialing is the process of registering providers (doctors, counselors, etc.) with insurance companies, so that they can accept third party reimbursement for medical services. There are a lot of misconceptions around medical credentialing, and often it is a difficult process for individual providers, small medical practices, and larger institutions alike.
